I love traveling with Sandy because we talk and talk and she takes me on side trips as we go. This time we checked out one of our favorite family places to go when my daughters were growing up. She wanted to see Sedona and Slide Rock in Oak Creek Canyon in Arizona. The Red Rock Monuments are huge and beautiful. However, Sedona's desert has built up in homes, hotels and shops. Slide Rock in Oak Creek that we use to park by and walk to the slide and play on the slippery rocks has turned commerical. Now you can park for $25 in a large parking lot next to the creek . I am glad that we got to go there in 1965-1980. It was all natural no man made stuff. Thanks Sandy. The ride brought back many wonderful memories.
