See that woman over there
They whisper.
She’s the mom of the boy
In the news.
She’s the one who we
Should blame.
Look at her standing there,
She’s the one who should
Be ashamed.
Angry fingers point her way.
Twists and turns of a boy
Gone astray.
How dare her wake up everyday
She should have done this
She could have done that
They say
If only she had changed her way
She could have stopped
That tragic day
They whisper and judge as
She passes by
They glare and sneer and wonder why
They hope she suffers
And feels the pain
Lies in her bed with guilt and shame
She shouldn’t laugh and feel any joy
She’s the one who raised the boy
Make no mistake
The pain is deep
It never stops, or even sleeps
She smiles at times
But they can’t see behind her eyes
They point and yell and throw their stones
They hope she dies all alone

It's hard to face our deep sorrows and disappointments, and yet courageously you share your feelings with us. How I wish I could just "kiss it" and make your hurt go away.
Listen to what God wants us to dwell on. "...whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are well spoken of, whatever virtue there is and whatever praiseworthy thing there is, continue considering these things." -Philippians 4:8
Dwell on the good things that you see. Pour out your heart to Jehovah, our heavenly Father who cares for us.(Phil 4:6,7)Then read his word, the Bible daily to hear what He has to say. Can you find some examples in your life that shows God cares for you?
Perhaps.
But maybe there is another side too.
See that woman over there
They think to themselves.
She's the mom of the boy
we all knew.
She's the one who
Dies each day.
Do you feel her standing there?
She's the one whose pain is unimaginable
Many prayers are sent her way.
Of the boy they all knew,
the one they still love today.
How does she keep moving through so much pain?
She would have done anything.
She would have given everything.
They ponder to themselves.
If only we had changed our ways.
We could have stopped
That looming day.
They tremble and moan as
she passes by
They cannot find any words, not even one
to comfort all her pain.
If only they knew what to say.
She's the one whose anguish is so great.
It never ceases and has no end.
They flounder and falter so not to offend.
They stand in silence with outstretched hands to lift and hold her to the end.
I think there is another side.
I wish I knew what to do.
I wish I knew what to say.
I wish I could make it all go away.
We live on faith--move forward.
There shall be no judging, only hope and love.
thank you for your love and prayers.
Tears. Tears. Praying on my knees tonight for that boy and you. You are such a wonderful mother, to your amazing kids and to me. It may feel as if you are that woman standing there who could have should have. But you rasied a good boy with a BIG heart. Praying for healing.
Brandi, Jessi, Sheila, examples of support for you, even though as humans we are limited in what we can do. With God, even mountain like problems can be moved and set straight. Keep on praying. Keep on seeking, keep on knocking.
-Luke 11:9, 10
Never give up! You have freinds and family cheering for you.
I agree with everyone, having kids of my own, some people don't realize how hard it is at times. I love you and pray for you, you have 3 amazing kids who I love and treasure dearly. Take it day by day, we are all here for you, ignore those comments, they aren't perfect! We love you!
