The Sun Came Out.....

Well the song was right.
The Sun will come out.

Thursday I went to work at the hospital. It sits up on the mountain. Normally you are able to see across the whole Salt Lake Valley.
I couldn't see more than 2 blocks because of the thick, yellow, smog that has been covering the valley.
I have been carrying a lot of stress and weight on my shoulders lately and this 'inversion' crap doesn't help.
So.......
I did what I do best. 'RUN FOR THE BORDER!!'
I went home, got on the internet, found a hotel for $39.00 in Mesquite, NV, packed my bag, Greg's bag, and Sugar.
When Greg came home from work, I said, "I gotta get out here! You wanna come?"
Greg knows me pretty well, and when I say I gotta go he understands.
So, we got in the car and headed south like a pair of geese.
We turned on some tunes and drove out of that 'smog hole' and into
CLEAR, WARM, BLUE, SKIES. Ahhhhh (deep breath)

We had a nice Seafood dinner, sat in the jacuzzi, and in the morning we were on the golf course, in the sunshine.
(I would like to thank those of you who pray for me. God hears and answers prayers. God continues to bless me with strength to keep moving and keeps me from losing my mind.)
HAPPY-HAPPY!

Good for you. Sometimes you just gotta go. Especially if you are headed for sunshine. I am glad Greg went with you. It really isn't fun to go alone. I'll put a Quote that I read early today. I keep it on my frig.

"Hope is like the beam of sunlight rising up above the horizon of our
present circumstances. It pierces the darkness with a brilliant dawn.
It encourages and inspires us to place our trust in the loving care of an eternal Heavenly Father, who has prepared a way for those who seek for eternal truth in a world of relativism, confusion, and of fear." Dieter F. Uchtforf
