A pain in my neck

Friday I went to a PAIN Specialist for a cervical epidural.  The pain in my shoulders and back, with numbness down my arms and into my fingers have been getting worse over this past year.  I have another ruptured disc that is pushing against the nerves in my spinal cord.  I also have bone spurs in there.     I really do not want another surgery.  So hopefully this will help the pain.   It lasts up to 3 months on some patients.  I hope it works for me.
    So far, so good.

I hope the epidural will last for 3 months. So sorry you must endure this pain. Pain just saps our energy!

Is this due to an injury or just "good" luck?

The Drs. say it could be from old injury's. Such as braking my nose on the car steering wheel, or years of gymnastics, or just degenerative discs. They really don't know, but it gets worse with age. The epidural has really helped the pain so far, but it doesn't fix the problem.
