"For Their Own Protection": Children in Long-Term Solitary Confinement

We have become a barbaric, society regarding how we treat fellow human beings.  We will be held accountable.  No one should turn their back, and put on their 'blinders' as to what is happening behind prison walls, to the most vulnerable people.  We are destroying human minds, and families.  There is hardly any rehabilitation efforts to help non-violent people, who have broken the law, but deserve a second chance in their life. “Why lock somebody up while you're locked up? You’re trying to kill their spirit even more," says Michael Kemp, describing his six-month stay in solitary confinement at age 17.
STOP THE MADNESS! STOP THE TORTURE.

As many of you know, my son is serving a life sentence, with the possibility of parole in 25 years.
Nothing that I do as an ACTIVIST for prison reform will affect my son. BUT, if I can help one person and their family from going through this unbearable pain, I will continue to fight prison reform.  David is doing well, he is the strongest person I know that can endure this journey.  He has been blessed by many prayers and a mothers love.
