One of my favorite scriptures. We really do need to get to know God's thoughts. When we understand how God thinks and we adopt his view, and support his purpose, then our lives go so much smoother.
The disciple James wrote: "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you..." -James 4:8.
Yes! it is possible to get close to God and understand his purpose and thoughts, as he reveals them to us, through the holy scriptures.
"Search for Jehovah, you people, while he may be found. Call to him while he proves to be near. Let the wicked man leave his way, and the harmful man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, who will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for he will forgive in a large way." -Isaiah 55:6, 7
