Today was a beautiful day.
I once again ventured out with my best friend Sugar.
Since I walk alot now, and I've walked alot downtown. I thought I'd go for a change of scenery.
I had heard about a place called Little Cottonwood Canyon, below Snowbird ski resort. Well I put gas & oil in the Vic, stopped by where Greg is working 12-16hr) to say Hi & I miss you . Filled my ice chest with water & Gatorade, & headed toward the mountain.
I still am a ALIAN, in a foriegn country, they call UT.
I only had to stop 4 times for directions, but I finally
found our destination. The drive up the mountain was
beautiful. Green, trees, wild flowers, a fast running stream, cool, bicyclists, & Sugar in the back seat excited to get on a trail. Well we were almost to the ski resort, when I spotted red signs on the side of the road that said, "NO DOGS ALLOWED!" What??? I'll I could do is pull over, wave down a forest ranger, and laugh, & ask for information. He was very nice & told me how to get to a place back down the mountain where MY SUGAR, would be Welcome. So I gave Sugar a drink, & we were not giving up, & back down the mountain we drove. Well, I guess a missed a turn, AGAIN, & this is where I really starting laughing, All of the sudden I was at an intersection I recognized. I thought this can't be- I didn't think I was going this way--someone is playing tricks on me. I was about 2 blocks away from Sheila's. CRAZY! So I stopped by Sheila's for a quick break, told her of my adventure & asked her where that dog friendly trail was that's near her house. She lead me to it , in her car & me and Sugar had a great Hike today. (Even if it took us all day.) So these are some pictures I took. I'm home now & was thinking about this poem I memorized a long time ago. Who knew, I would refer to it again many times in my life. (POEM ABOVE)

That looks like a lovely place to walk with Sugar. You always have the best adventures. Hey, you should post a picture of Sugar, while Sheila's got her dog theme still going. I will post one of Spudnik. (That's our dog)
