A TRIBUTE TO MY MOM

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to MY MOM-

As long as I can remember my mom has always had rose bushes in her yard. I used to watch her plant them, & they looked like thorny little sticks. She would weed around them on her hands & knees, and water them, & care for them, even after she had been at work all day at her job. It made me think of what I wonderful mom I have. It made me think, that even when I've been a little thorny, & didn't look my best, my mom was always there with me, on her knees, praying for me, always helping me & caring for me. And just like her roses, that bloomed into beautiful flowers, because of all her hard work, I am forever Grateful. Whenever I walk by Rose bushes growing in someones yard I always think of my mom. Happy Birthday MOM, I Love You.

Here's a little poem by one of our favorite poets:

RESULTS & ROSES

The man who wants a garden fair,
Or small or very big,
With flowers growing here and there,
Must bend his back & dig.

The things are mighty few on earth
That wishes can attain.
Whate'er we want of any worth
We've got to work to gain.

It matters not what goal you seek
Its secret here reposes:
You've got to dig from week to week
To get Results or Roses.
