Today is a great day for one of These! I can't even count how many of these I've made, and ate. HUNDREDS- maybe THOUSANDS!! How could that be, you may ask?? From the time I was about 10 years old my dad managed public swimming pools in the summertime. All of us girls went everyday with my dad also. In Globe, AZ, I ran the concession stand. I remember having checks with The name "Sandy's Candies" on it. My dad & I would go to a warehouse & buy supplies. Snow cone cups, flavored syrup, snicker bars, M & M's, Big Hunks, and don't forget CHICKO-STICKS! The "brown baby", (Sheila) was always there, Vallerie was a lifeguard, & DAD was taking care of everything around us. Ronna was older, but she was around also. These were Fun days, but also great lessons of life, that my dad was preparing us girls for. He taught us to be HONEST, RESPONSIBLE, and have GOOD WORK ETHIC.
"The GOOD OLD DAYS". I'm proud & grateful from where I come.
(thanks mom & dad)

I remember papa's snowcone machine and watching my mom indulge in her all time favorite candy bar-Big Hunk. Can you even find those anymore?
Do you remember when Sheila checked out the wrong VW?
