Some things I didn't realize. Some things to think about.
NOAH was a drunk
ABRAHAM was too old
ISAAC was a daydreamer
JACOB was a liar
LEAH was ugly
JOSEPH was abused
MOSES had a stuttering problem
GIDEON was afraid
SAMSON had long hair and was a womanizer
JEREMIAH & TIMOTHY were too young
DAVID had an affair & was a murderer
ELIJAH was suicidal
ISAIAH preached naked
JONAH ran from GOD
NAOMI was a widow
JOB went bankrupt
PETER denied CHRIST
THE DISCIPLES fell asleep while praying
MARTHA worried about everything
THE SAMARITAN woman was divorced more than once
ZACCHEUS was too small
PAUL was too religious and in prison more than once
TIMOTHY had an ulcer... And
LAZARUS was dead.
and JESUS BLESSED AND HELPED THEM ALL!!!

Where did you get your info? Yes, they were all imperfect men. Is it not encouraging to know we are not thrown aside for our mistakes, but we are given opportunity to repent and turn around from our bad ways. All possible by the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Yes, let us develop strong "Faith" in this undeserved kindness, knowing this provision from Jehovah will cover our sins. "Hope" in the prospect of everlasting life, serving our Heavenly Father, with a bright clean future. "Love" because it is the basis of Jesus Christ kingdom rule, remembering "that we love, because he first loved us" (Compare 1 John 4:9-11,19) May you continue to gain comfort from the scriptures. Sending my love to you and yours.
