Do you see what I see?

Another beautiful day outside. The leaves are changing, red, yellow, orange, an a little purple even. The sky was really blue, and the clouds big, fluffy, white ones. Greg says it looks like a box of "Trix". It does! So, Can you see what I saw in the bushes?? Pretty cool. There is so much wild life on this mountain course, I always take my camera to capture what I see. I'm like a little kid, pretending I'm on a little safari. oh yea, I hit a few golf balls along the way.

My sports update is not as exciting, this week. My COWBOYS lost.
EARNHARDT is 8th in points, which is ok, but looking forward to Talledaga this week.

Your side bar fish looks like some one dropped different colors of paint on him. Kinda reminds me of the little finch with all the colors. (Do you know the story of how the colorful finch got it's colors?)

No, I don't know that story; but of course, I want to know about it.

I think it is an African fable, but the story goes that God called all the birds to gether and gave the cardinal the beautiful color red, the orieol was given yellow, the raven was given shiny black, the peacock was given green, the parrots blue, and so on, but by the time the little finch came for his turn all the colors were taken, he was so sad. So to solve the problem, God had each of the birds that recieved colors give a little portion of their color to the little finch. That's how the finch came to be so beautifully full of color. (I always liked this fable.) Thats what your side bar fish reminded me of. That story is in the book house series, I think Sheila has that collection.

I love when fall comes. It's so pretty! That's funny you saw a turkey this last weekend. We saw one too at the Biltmore. Gobble, Gobble.

Nice pictures. I am glad that you and Greg are enjoying being outside and breathing freshair and taking in the sunshine. I think I am seeing a turkey, too. Are we right? is it a turkey?

Yep! It's a turkey. There were about 8 of them, in the bushes right along the golf path. At first I thought they were pheasants, but When I started to get closer to get their picture they all started gobbleing.
