TOUCH

For centuries mother's have intuitively known the healing power of touch.

Today health care professionals know the importance of touching.
The Power of touch is important from birth till death. From the time we are born, to the time we die, we all have a need to be touched.
TOUCH - lessens anxiety, softens the blows of life, generates hope, promotes pain relief, and relaxation, and has the power to heal.
As a nurse, I am very comfortable touching others. A simple hand a shoulder, a lingering handshake, holding hands, etc. It's a blessing to touch others and be touch. Reach out and "touch", one another. It's good for the soul.

I AGREE!!! Especially, people who are ill or older, who have no one close to them to give them tender feeling through touch. -Compare:Matt 8:3 (that man may have not been touched in years.)

My mission to Georgia was good for me. Everyone hugs. Then I lived with a friend who's dad is Samoan and another Polynesian roomie. Everyone kisses on the cheek for hello.

Sometimes us "whities" are too uptight about personal space. :)

I have learned to hug over the years. I only wished that I had hugged my daughters more when they were young and still at home.
