I owe this Sweet Little Thing $35.00 because she just ran 35 laps today for a fund raiser at school. (watch out Sheila and TJ)
Saturday afternoon my phone rings and on the line is this sweet little girl voice. "hi Grandma Sugar." Then she g0es on to explain to me about her fund raiser at school, and asks if I would like to make a pledge for every lap she runs.
Well of course I said, "Sure. I'll pledge $1.00 for ever lap."
I was thinking 5-6 laps. $5-$6 right? WRONG!
The determined, little High Achiever ran 35 Laps! She RAN TILL HER THROAT HURT, AND HER SIDE ACHED! (I love this kid.)
JOB WELL DONE LEXI LEE!!
Next time one of my grandkids call for a pledge, I'll pledge .25 cents. Live & learn (haha)

Well I'll tell you it is hard to live and learn when it comes to grand and great grand children. I am 75 and I pledged $1 a lap, too.
