No Reins

I am a poor writer and sometimes have a hard time expressing my thoughts. Songs have a way of saying things I can relate to. This song by Rascal Flatts makes me think of when I left my second husband. Difficult times, yet good.
Click on to song #14_ 3minutes
She left that loser in a dust cloud
Heart in his hand, chin on the ground
Cried a last tear for that clown
She can see a little clearer now
She said, "oh, oh, I gotta go and find me"
oh,oh, she found the strength to break free
Like a painted wild mustang
Flyin' out across the open range
Finally gets to live her life that way
No fear, No fences, nobody,
No Reins, no Reins
All she's ever felt is held back
She says, It's kinda nice to hear myself laugh
She's gonna, do a lot more of that
She's making plans and makin' tracks...
OH, oh she's learning how to let go -oh, oh whichever way the wind blows
No fear, no fences, nobody, NO REINS...
(Even when you feel weak, we are stronger than we think. I'm a survivor.)

You are right. Songs often express our feelings. I guess song writers have had experiences or feelings that we and other people have had. Then a great singer sings the song with musical feelings. Thanks for sharing. I never saw the Happy Day picture of your boys before-nice picture! Love Mom
