These are "stretcher bearers". These are women I had never met. These are women of faith. These are women who knew me by name, they knew my son, David by name. They knew our story. They have been praying for myself and our family. Some of them, made the long drive out to Florence, and sat in the court room all day in support of David. These women were such a wonderful example of Christ's teachings of love, compassion, and carrying others burdens. They were understanding, and accepting of my unusual, heartbreaking circumstance.
I have received, and recognize how the power of prayer by others, for others, can help sustain us during our most difficult and painful times. My intense pain, anxiety, depression, is just below the surface. It has come to the surface, more than once, in the form of anger, panic, screaming, crying, and collapsing. Yet, here I am, back on my feet, still moving. It is because of God's mercy and strength and people like these.
Because of Sue Paulson, (David's step-mom). I was able to attend a wonderful "Women of Faith" Conference. It was very uplifting, and encouraging. Inspiration women speakers telling their stories. Sharing the Grace of Christ. The music was Great. Non-Denominational Christian teachings.
