Went for a 'Sunday Drive'

Remember when people use to go for a 'Sunday Drive'? I can remember our parents sometimes just going for a drive. No where special, just a spontaneous little drive. Well, after I went to church a native North Carolinian asked if I wanted to go for drive and see what's around. This is what I saw. A simple Methodist Church on a country road with the cemetery next to it. As were driving I spotted what I thought were Giant black & white Pigs! (I need new contacts.) Turns out they were "Belted Galloway" Cows from Scotland. They were 'Furry' cows. We also stop a Lake Jordan and saw some sail boats blow by. And of course so many beautiful trees and colors. After a nice day of site seeing he cook me some Venison Stroganof. It was a nice day.

A Sunday drive is nice especially through a new beautiful place and a guide to show the way. I like the photos. I also spent a hour looking at your photos on facebook. You have a lot of great photos. I enjoyed seeing family members and your trip photos too.

Sunday drives are fun. We'll take the kids on sometimes too. I wouldn't have known those were cows from far away either.
