Other than my family and friends,
these are a few things I miss from Arizona.
Arizona Sunsets.
Nothing compares to watching the sunset in Arizona.
While I love the green of North Carolina and the fireflies, I have to admit I do miss
the Arizona Mountains,
especially the Superstitions.
I also love the Canyon Lakes along the Salt River.
It's funny how I just took those for granted while growing up,
and now when I go to the lake, I realize just how really
beautiful they are.
Even the large wall of dust that roars in during the monsoon
season. It's pretty amazing to watch coming your way.
Of course the Mexican food.

Arizona has great Mexican Food! I bet Texas does, as well. Utah, not so much. North Carolina...same.
I appreciate the things you miss about Ariz. What I miss is the smell of the Arizona desert after a rain!
California desert is much different. Arizona desert is full of plant life and birds and reptiles and all sorts of living things.
Tex-Mex is much different than Mexican food in Ariz. And New Mexico Mexican food is different than both. California has it's own Mexican food. Too Bad for Utah and North Carolina, they are missing out!
