'Change is good.' That's what they say.
Change is also scary.
Change is constant and challenging.
Change can take you to places you never expected to go.
Change can be hard.
My life is constantly changing. Not always the way I expected.
Let's see?
I've had small and insignificant changes and large and unexpected life changes.
About 8 years ago, I had a desire to change some things in my life. I wanted to feel peace and happiness in my life. I wanted my life to be different. But, desire alone does not make it happen. "You can not change, what you will not acknowledge." (Dr Phil). I think that is true. First, I had to acknowledge things I wanted to change in myself. Then, I started a conscience effort to make small changes. Just simple things. I started getting rid of clutter. Both clutter around me, and clutter in my head. I started cleaning out old ways of thinking. I started to change the way I looked at things. I started tuning into the kind of 'energy' around me. Both good and bad energy. The kind of energy that I was creating for myself or allowing others to create around me. I started surrounding myself with positive, uplifting people. Friends and family who were encouraging, loving, and understanding. I became more honest with myself and shared my mistakes and feelings with my family. I started meditating, praying, counseling, reading the bible, reading the Tao, trying to trust God a little more. That's hard sometimes, because I have my own thoughts of how to run my life, and believe me, that messes me up a lot. It's hard sometimes to do things differently. It was hard and scary to make different decisions, about my life and trust the Lord to direct me to where I should be. I feel I am where I am suppose to be right NOW. Once again, God continues to provide for my needs. I have a wonderful family and a fiance who knows all about me and loves me. For me, I think it's best to share your fears and are wanting to change your life to be different so they can help.
Well, it a new day tomorrow let's see how I do.
I will practice seeing the best in me, and someone else.

"The only constant in life is change."
Continue to progress in your knowledge of God, that will help you to know his qualities and thoughts so you can adjust your thinking to match his and reflect his qualities to others.(John 17:3; Gal. 5:22, 23)
Love your header picture!
the pictures is quite beautiful.
Sometimes we have to step back a minute, look at our life, and realize that God does have a hand in it- if we will listen and follow and be willing to change.
I love this post. I get it. Seems we are always being tweaked a bit here and there and thank goodness.
Can I be candid here a bit? I'm going to assume you have said yes.
As you describe your process and your desires, it is my belief that the covenants your parents made in the Temple to the Lord, regarding each other and their children, are having a huge pull in your life.
How lucky you are to have parents who have heeded the truth, acted on the truth. For their obedience in simple things, the Lord is rewarding their daughter with blessings and strength to go down a path that leads to Him.
That's a whole lotta love.
Thank you all for your encouraging words, and you're help in teaching me, and reminding me, of God's principles.
Your knowledge of the scriptures and the examples you show me, are loved and appreciated.
I also share a lot of these things with David. We are both traveling this journey together. Different roads, but same destination.
