Popsicle - The History of the Popsicle
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Mary Bellis
In 1905, the Popsicle was invented by an eleven-year-old Frank Epperson. Frank Epperson was only 11 years old when he invented the originally named Epsicle. He had left his fruit flavored soda outside on the porch with a stir stick in it. The drink froze to the stick and tasted good. It took 18 more years in 1923 for Epperson to apply for a patent for a "frozen ice on a stick" called the Epsicle ice pop, which his children re-named the Popsicle.
In 1925, Frank Epperson sold his famous Popsicle to the Joe Lowe Company of New York. Good Humor now owns the rights to the Popsicle.
•Twin Popsicles (two popsicles sticks together) were invented during the Great Depression.
•Popsicle sticks were first made from Birch wood.

"Call Me Irresponsible"
Call me irresponsible
Call me unreliable
Throw in undependable, too
Do my foolish alibis bore you?
Well, I'm not too clever, I
I just adore you
So, call me unpredictable
Tell me I'm impractical
Rainbows, I'm inclined to pursue
Call me irresponsible
Yes, I'm unreliable
But it's undeniably true
That I'm irresponsibly mad for you
Do my foolish alibis bore you?
Girl, I'm not too clever, I
I just adore you
Call me unpredictable
Tell me that I'm so impractical
Rainbows, I'm inclined to pursue
Go ahead call me irresponsible
Yes, I'm unreliable
But it's undeniably true
I'm irresponsibly mad for you
You know it's true
Oh, baby it's true
Call me irresponsible
Call me unreliable
Throw in undependable, too
Do my foolish alibis bore you?
Well, I'm not too clever, I
I just adore you
So, call me unpredictable
Tell me I'm impractical
Rainbows, I'm inclined to pursue
Call me irresponsible
Yes, I'm unreliable
But it's undeniably true
That I'm irresponsibly mad for you
Do my foolish alibis bore you?
Girl, I'm not too clever, I
I just adore you
Call me unpredictable
Tell me that I'm so impractical
Rainbows, I'm inclined to pursue
Go ahead call me irresponsible
Yes, I'm unreliable
But it's undeniably true
I'm irresponsibly mad for you
You know it's true
Oh, baby it's true

A true friend is someone who is there for you when he'd rather be anywhere else.
"The most valuable things in life are not measured in monetary terms.
The really important things are not houses and lands stocks and bonds automobiles and reap estate
but friendships, trust, confidence, empathy, mercy, love and faith."
-Bertrand Russell delong-
I have some really good friends in my life.
Although I have no friends in Utah, I know I have been blessed with true friends.
I got to visit my Bronco- Every scratch and dent has a story behind it. Lots of memories. Oh if my Bronco could talk it would have a lot of my life story to tell.
Good thing it can't. hahaha!

Rainbows
May God give you....
For every storm a RAINBOW,
for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and blessing in each trial,
for every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share,
for every sigh a sweet song and
an answer to each prayer.
-Irish blessing-

Family in Flagstaff
A quick stop in Flagstaff, AZ to see my nieces.
EV lives there, and Victoria is living and staying there for the summer. Victoria has a new job at the Sizzler.
We went there for dinner. She looks so cute in her white shirt and tie.
Then we headed on down 'the mountain'.

Two Wild and Crazy Girls
Mom and Me on a "Road Trip".
Our first stop was Bryce National Canyon.
I had never been before. It was beautiful. Really amazing to see. We walk around the different view points and were amazed at the different rock formations. Really cool. I'm glad I finally got to see it.
Then we stopped by Ruby's Inn and western town. Mom got a little wild!
"Moms Gone Wild!"
She put her Saloon dress on, went out on the town, and met some
OUTLAW nicknamed SLICK SUGAR and
I had to BAIL her out of JAIL in the morning!
(We don't get out much. hee-hee)

It really has NOTHING to do with GOLF
These are some of the reasons I LOVE TO GOLF
and it has NOTHING to do with golfing.
I love to be outside. I love to go out on dates with my boyfriend. I love to have a cold beer and eat some pretzels while cruisin' through the forest. I love to feel a breeze on my face, smell the outdoors, and did I mention Hang out with my man.
This is at my favorite golf course. It's in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. I always take my camera because it's like going on a wild life adventure. It's beautiful in the spring, summer, and fall. There's a rushing creek that runs through it. Deer, moose, and all sorts of animals, and birds can be spotted if your paying attention. This time, we saw all kinds of beautiful birds, singing all different songs. If you look carefully there in the grass you will see wild turkeys. There are different color of butterflies out. And as you can see, the squirrels were hungry and friendly.
Oh yea, and once in a while I luck out and hit a good ball, or make a good put.

A Shout out to KEMPTON.
My favorite grandson turns 3 today.
He shares his birthday with his Papa Lax. He is a big brother. He is very athletic. He swims, jumps off diving boards, slides down water slides, ride motorcycles, drives cars, and golfs quite well. Yes, yes, he's a wonder child.
HAVE A HAPPY DAY K.

Laus Deo! "Praise be to God" "God bless America"
The first thing everyone should be aware of is that God ordained and sanctioned America as the leader of the free world. An ancient prophecy mentions America as the "balance of power" of the entire world.
