Slumdog Millionaire - Sandy's review

Yesterday I went and saw "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE". In a sentence, I Liked it.

I think what you take away from it, will vary from each individual. From a DISTANCE that "housing" development down there doesn't look so bad. But come closer, look closer, smell it, stay the night there, share a meal there with a family. Does it still look the same? It stirred up a lot of my feelings about humanity.

A few things that stood out to me.---THE EYES So many different eyes. Dark black eyes, eyes of a mother, eyes of poverty peeking through shacks, called a shelter, eyes of evil men, eyes of blind children, eyes of survivors, eyes of lovers, and friends. Eyes of hope and promise. The other thing that stuck out, (even before the end of the movie) was the "color yellow". What a creative person that put that in the movie. For me, it accomplished what I think he was trying to convey to the audience without words.

Don't we all want the same thing in this world? LOVE

Sounds like a well done movie. Yours and Sheila's reviews have peaked my interest.
