What do you think?

Another beautiful Painting by, Iman Maleki. What feeling or interpretation do you have when you look at this painting? I see a couple things.

To me, it looks as if this is possibly two sisters who are learning and studying together. The younger sister seems to be a lot more casual or more relaxed than the older but by her sitting at her feet shows she has a get deal of respect for her older sister even if they don't see eye to eye on philosophies that may be found in that book she is holding.

Having respect for your religious/cultural beliefs does not make you out of touch. The girls, while covered, look like ordinary young women.

Yes, they look like sisters, it may be they are enduring some sort of trial, or maybe the older one is preparing the younger for a storm coming by fortifying the younger one's faith. Pointing to wisdom from above. Could that be the Holy Bible? It is possible, as the Bible, by God's holy spirit is available in many other countries.

i love this picture, it is very pretty. and yes, it tells a story.
i'd definitely say sisters
the older sister, more in thought and pondering. the younger sister looking to her in respect and wanting to learn.

the artist sees two young women, not girls, new or modern times but with old cultures mixing, the clear and cloudy skies give way to the feeling one would get in deep thought..

and it a cool picture, i like one that use pastel colors

I see two young girls, possibly sisters. One girl is a little older than the other one. They found a secluded place away from the busy noisy world below. Perhaps the younger girl has asked a serious question and the older one shares the answer that she finds in the book that she holds. The intent look of the younger girl tells me that she sincerely wants to know the answer. This is a beautiful picture.
