Time with my Indiana Cousins

Although my time was short, I was able to see all 5 of my Indiana Cousins.  I stayed the night at Nancy and Bonnie's.  And stayed at Becky's till way past midnight visiting, and catching up.  The thing about our family is, although miles and time separate us our love is strong.  Our grand-parents and father's genes run deep.  We are able to understand each other.  Accept one another's differences,  and our humor, is exactly the same.  We do have a different kind of humor.   We all live different lives, yet we are so much alike.
I was truely born into a unique family.  I thank God everyday for my diverse family.  What a blessing to be different yet the same.

I too had the opportunity to visit some of the David & Doreen Lax Family this year. I have happy memories of our time together in Indiana. I also have happy memories of my childhood with my Mom, Dad,and Garland and the Criswell and Reames families. Thanks for the posting of my childhood home. Thanks for the picture of the first house Dad and I were buying--Like many now days --we lost that house--but we had fun while we lived there. I loved being with my sister-in-laws-Doreen and Joann and my nieces and nephews. I wish I could have stayed longer with them. I was sad that I could not visit with my brother more because of my aching ankle and leg.
